As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.
As an example: ABS plastic contains styrene PVC wire insulation can contain Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) electrolytic capacitors can contain Ethylene glycol Brass can contain Lead flame retardant pc boards can contain Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) Aluminum alloys can contain Chromium To put it simply we are a small company and do not have the resources to test every single part, so we list every thing as hazardous. Good value, some cap brands are leaky | |
| This kit is a good value, with most caps branded Jwco, with low leakage. The 10V 100uF caps were ZH brand, and have very high leakage, even after sitting at 9V for 10 minutes. Two of the caps were Chongx brand, with low leakage. The 16V 330uF were Lm brand, and have moderate leakage. | ||

| I tested every single capacitor and they ALL pass the ESR test as well as Vloss and capacity.I use these to repair Ham,CB and consumer equipment.Pretty good selection. | ||

| All of these capacitors seem to work fine from what I have gathered and they are very high quality for the price they are selling for. | ||
